+Extra Antarcticam Nulla Salus+
Dear Members and Supporters of the Antarctic Micronational Union,
Today, we proudly mark the 15th anniversary of the Antarctic Micronational Union (AMU), a momentous occasion that reflects on a journey defined by collaboration, resilience, and shared dedication to the principles of Antarctic micronationalism.
Fifteen years ago, the Kingdom of Finismund, Marie State, and the Grand Duchy of Flandrensis set forth on a visionary endeavor, establishing the Grupo del Acuerdo Micronacional Antártico (GAMA). Since then, the AMU has evolved, weathering challenges and emerging as a cornerstone in the Antarctic micronational community.
In celebrating this milestone, we recognize the collective efforts of our members that have shaped AMU’s identity. From the early days to the present, the organization has been a catalyst for the principles of collective recognition of borders, procedural voting for new members, and steadfast advocacy for the preservation of Antarctica.
In recent years, Flandrensis has rejoined our ranks, adding renewed strength to our shared mission. The return of Flandrensis underscores the enduring spirit of collaboration and the AMU’s significance in the Antarctic micronational landscape.
As we reflect on our 15-year journey, we envision a future guided by the same principles that have defined us. The signing of the new Charter in 2020 marked a revitalized commitment to neutrality, non-partisanship, and the collective defense of Antarctic claims.
I extend my sincere gratitude to our members and supporters for their unwavering dedication. Together, let us embrace the next chapter of Antarctic micronationalism with enthusiasm, unity, and a shared commitment to the values that bind us.
